
Staying true to the arcade origins, the house of the dead overkill, is all about scary thrills yet exhilarating action of blasting hordes of zombies mutants and assorted undead freaks, either alone or with a friend. What sets this apart from its predecessors is its attitude and grindhouse style: a movie- trailer- like level intros, saturated colours, funky surf music, filmlike graphic filters: intentionally hilarious, vulgarity laced dialogue that attempts to elevated profanity to an art form.
Magnums, semiautos shotguns, assault rifles grenade- u name it, its all at your disposal and turning zombie into meaty chunks us as simple as aiming with the Wii remote control (and fire with B if I’m not wrong)
Look out for Overkill special feature! An unlockable Director cut mode. (it contains expanded commentary , extra cut scenes, additional branching path, ) bonus, minigames, plentiful options such as the ability to double or even triple number of foes on the screen!
Sega has put in a lot of effort for this one. And trust me, the effort is paid off!
